Upgrade the weak factory steering on your Ram with the Synergy Heavy Duty Tie Rod, a direct bolt-on replacement engineered for maximum strength, improved steering response, and long-term durability. Designed around the factory T-style steering configuration, this tie rod corrects the toe-change issues associated with the older Y-style steering while avoiding the bump-steer problems commonly found with crossover steering conversions.

Constructed from 1.5" x .188 wall heat-treated 4130 chromoly, this tie rod is over 200% stronger than stock, making it ideal for daily driving, towing, and aggressive off-road use. The precision-bent design follows the factory geometry to maintain proper clearance at the sway bar mounts while providing an additional 2 inches of ground clearance over the factory tie rod.

Synergy’s single-plane, low-misalignment tie rod ends eliminate unwanted movement and steering “dead spots,” delivering a tighter, more predictable feel on and off the road. The integrated double adjuster sleeve and pinch-bolt design allows for easy alignment adjustments while installed, without jam nuts that can loosen over time.

This tie rod is designed to be paired with the Synergy Heavy Duty Drag Link (PN 8567-11) for a complete T-style steering upgrade, and is compatible with stock or aftermarket steering stabilizers when used with the appropriate Synergy clamp.

Steering Style Note

  • T-Style Steering: Drag link attaches to the tie rod (supported by this tie rod)
  • Replaces Y-Style Steering: Eliminates toe change and improves steering consistency
  • Not compatible with crossover steering systems
